This is the Blue Ridge Georgia Parkway. It is about 1 hour from where I live. The autumn leaves are turning colors before they drop off and huddle down for winter. But today, today it's showing off.

I'm thinking those beautiful fall views look especially lovely to you two this year. Go take a ride up the Blue Ridge! (Or do you hike?)

We have been riding on weekends. We have always hiked, but this year have not.Maybe next year, I hope.

Thanks so much for posting your beautiful fall. Enjoy it while it lasts

Some years, as I suspect this one will be, it will not last long. We have not had much rain, so the leaves changing will be short lived.

Hi Jerrilyn, oh! wow, wow, wow! How awesome is this vision? We don't have this sort of vista in Australia, mostly gum trees. I love seeing the autumn colours and when we were in Canada we were blown away by their beauty. Trees are just the most amazing things to see and hug! Love Chris
P.S. One of my friends who lives in the Southern Highlands here in New South Wales has the typical English garden trees and they are spectacular when we have Autumn.

It catches me by surprise every year. This signals coming out of the heat of summer and moving toward the slow quiet of winter.
