You did a great job on the rope. Isn't it fun and relaxing to just zigzag round and round---I found it to be so. I have not embroidered on rope though.

I haven't tried making the rope place mats or coasters so am curious is there something I should not do or should so (when I finally do get around to it ) they lay flat.

Lovely job on your placemats! I love them! I've been wanting to try doing something with rope but have not tried it yet either. I like your idea of the placemats instead of the bowls as I use placemats all the time.
