Everyone has gone home after the Christmas rush and i get to sit and try some new projects.I made 4 coasters these are easy peasy .Then i wanted to try a shallow bowl and try putting fabric in /on it.Lot easier to just leave it plain and embroidery on it lol

Looks very fancy, but I imagine it was not easy.

Great job, love the scattered fabric wrap rather than ones I've seen that are all fabric wrap. Best of both worlds. ;-)

You did a lovely job with the coasters and bowl. I like the bowl with the wrapped rope. Very pretty.

I love them made all different ways. My very first was all fabric scrap covered. Then my project in sewing club because my bee hive. I came to the realization that embroidering the center is before you start forming any bowl side. Easy enough to go back to tug to raise the sides when done. I love them and happy you are getting a kick on doing them. I am right now in my chemo haze but little by little doing small things. Have bread dough in bread maker and did my fuzzy type clothes. Folded now to get up and get them put away, lol.

These are so cool! I have never done one - you make it look easy but, I am not so certain they are easy to do! Bunches of hugs, Laura
