Sue Dewsbury was a very active member here. Sue started with a Janome embroidery machine and shortly after bought herself Embird and very quickly got to grips with creating some fantastic designs.

In 2016 she set up on Facebook Engineered in Stitches. Sue continues to keep digitising and coming up with many new ideas. Her designs are available for a set donation to her local hospice called St Barnabas.
Over the years over £24,000 has been raised by Sue from her designs. It’s probably more as one regularly sees comments that they forgot to add the money donated was for a SueD design. Older Cuties may remember Scotty, Sue’s friend who received end of life care in St Barnabas.
