Confusion, confusion. Just had a email from Embroidery Library with a freebie for Mothers Day. Then realise its happening in a different part of the world to me as I was sure that celebrations had happened in the UK a while ago.
In the UK the date is rooted in the Christian observance of Lent, with Mothering Sunday taking place on the fourth Sunday, exactly three weeks before Easter Sunday. The USA is the second Sunday in May
