I had neglected my embroidery machines. Done a LOT of knitting. But I am happy with these and promised myself to embroider more.

Outstanding. The little bird looks like he is ready to share some gossip! And I love the bottom row, left flower, with the lighter stitching. You've been busy.

That one was a sort of experiment with the petals of an old silk flower that had seen better times. I liked the simplicity - and it took less time then other embroideries..

Well done! Are these mini notebook size? I made those for bus trips this time. All look nice and I like your stripe fabric. It reminds me of something from my past…can’t remember what though.

Mine are A5, which is about 8.5" x 5.5". The stripe fabric is a remnant from the 80's.
Oh and I did a quite a few of the smaller A6 size to have something just in case I need an unexpected little gift.

Thanks Lidia. My friend was thrilled with them. She lives in the south of the country so has only seen the picture. We'll meet soon.

I love them and know the work that goes into a composition book or any other kind. Also the time it takes sitting to do these. I, personally, have to sit on a pillow if I spend any time at the machine. I know she loved these.
