This was a very fun and sentimental project. The MAMA sweatshirt I made for my daughter has machine embroidery applique letters from my grandson's baby onesies.
Design is from Etsy. I sprayed cut away stabilizer with adhesive spray and applied it to the back of the shirt. I hooped tear away, floated the shirt and held it on with pins and added a basting rectangle around the design. Applique letters have HeatnBond lite on them. Est. 2021 was done in my software with the Zing font.

This is a wonderful sweatshirt and glad this will be kept as a treasure. Also happy you have written your process of doing this. Sometimes I wonder what other people do. All the yrs I've been embroidering with sometimes long spans between it is like starting over for me--trial and ERROR. She looks so very happy. I would be too wearing that great shirt. Wonder if anyone else is having trouble bring up thumbnail pictures to make them larger??? I can't seem to see anything but the small capture.

I'm not having a thumbnail/photo problem right now. When I have had that problem in the past I think it was an issue with how long it took pictures to load on my computer or the site was slow.

Thank you for commenting and my late cking for reply--I am sick and can't get on this site too much anymore. I still can't get any pics to load--last time it was said it was on my end, then others started commenting they too had a prob and it was the Cute site. I don't know.
