I thought that links to sites were supposed to go into bookmarks.

I think that we all want to share the new sites, and bring them to the attention of those that don't check the bookmarks. I for one, wouldn't know that someone had found a site with wonderful freebies if they didn't mention it here. So... I am thankful that they do still share them here. ;)

I check bookmarks and would like to see all new sites there. But maybe the name needs to be something different. The first time I clicked, I thought I was going to get designs to make bookmarks. Jan

mollymarie, I am with you - I have been wondering why they don't do that for the past month - I wish that we could get the Q&A back to what it is intended for - I am with you all the way.

I think it's only certain people doing this, posting masses of links, and for me it is overkill! As soon as i see such a large number of links in a message it puts me right off so i just close it. While I can appreciate they have gone to a lot of trouble, so many of the links are repeats, or incomplete deadlinks. Who has the time to sit and chase up so many links?? only to find you've already been to that site, or that link leads nowhere...
Maybe i've become a little jaded, i know i've become more selective about freebie designs now, they have to be really special before i will download them.

Just my opinion and probably not of value to anyone else,

Web links (URLS) should be posted in BOOKMARKS Section and a message posted here to tell us there is a new Site added to Bookmarks, Unless it is a reminder to collect an ongoing set, or a pointer to the VOTE request for the day, i think those are different. hnr, Meganne

Now that we can post pictures and movies in Community, shouldn't we keep the projects section JUST for embroidery projects????
I thought that was the reason for Veronika giving us these great new options.
Just my opinion...
Besides if you post in Community you can search for, or mark the posts, and are able to find them so much easier.

Well maybe if there were actual instructions to this site as to what goes where instead of assuming everyone knows what everything is or that requests go through at certain person and that person decides if your request will be granted through the site it may help the rest of you. I didn't know this stuff.
