WOOOOOOOOOOOW indeed! automatic jumpstitch trim alone is a dream for me - I hate cutting jumpstitches. I have the Designer 1 and can't complain but this is really fantastic. Ah yeah its nice to dream....... must save for new apartment and dream kitchen at the moment though. but really thanks for sharing colonies, I wasn't aware a new model was out... its on my list should I win the lottery (without wasting money on a ticket looool) *4u

As far as I know it's available only in the USA. It is not even on the other country's website. But I saw it when one of the members told she'd bought it and it's something worth saving for. (My Designer1 is from October 1999, maybe next year, when it's 10 years old??)

I saw this one yesterday at my dealer, I have have the desginer 1 usb and love it, this thing is quite impressive I must say but at $9000 I think I'll keep what i have. I don't think I'd have much use for the really large hoop anyway. While I was there there were 2 little old ladies learning to use their new machines!!!!! Jeez 2! Oh well good luck to em.

Isn't it a dream !!! Was at a demo this past weekend at our square dance convention in London, Ontario and the lady had one on display, asked her how much and she thought about $8000 Cdn, but think it must be way more than that at least here in Canada. Thought winning the 6/49 would help...LOL...have a great day cutes...

Yes it is really something. I got my sister hooked on embroidery and she just bought the new Designer Diamond. Talk about being envious. Oh well-- I LOVE MY SE. So unless I win the lottery or something I'll be faithful to the SE.

In USA the cost is a few cents under $9000. Yes, it's a really neat machine. I did get one...I think I had a moment of insanity! But I guess I would have just left my money to my kids, now I'll just sew & sew for them! Started with a Rose over 10 yrs. ago & have worked my way up to the Diamond. If you get the chance, go to any of the demos of the machine. They can answer all kinds of questions. And give you a chance to maybe sew on the machine.

Husqvana is the "bees knees". I would have liked another Bernina but had to settle for a very inferior Brother, will look out for the new Husq machine and drool though. Jo
