I finally decided to try my hand at applique bookmarks. I stitched this on felt and backed it with light cotton fabric. this is the crocus bookmark from embroiderylibrary - I changed colours though.

thank you, top material is felt and the back is a scrap of cotton - I found it a good way to use leftover scraps from patchwork lol *
