When you click in Answer the Question, just below the rectangle given for answering is a light green area where you can "add links", "upload Image" (some of the animated GIFs you have been seeing) or upload Video. Just copy and past the link you want to add. Just note that the http:// is already there, so either DON'T copy it, or backspace over the one there and paste.
