Is it with all the thread or just that one? Have you tried changing the tension, there are many reasons that can cause this just go over your troubleshooting before you start freaking out. Good luck

Are you doing a very dense design? Sometimes when my designs are too dense, the thread will occasionally shred/shear off because it's rubbing so hard on the threads already in the design`(sewn out). Does this make sense to you? Good luck, and Welcome to you, Vic!! Marji

I you have changed everything including the thread, and this still happens it may be the top tension rollers or a piece of thread caught somewhere up there (this happened to me), but I would ring the repair shop for their advice just in case may save you some $$$.

You might try a new bobbin. Mayb ethat is what is doing the pulling.

I would sugguest that you do all the things that everyone has suggested - look through your manual - do whatever you can - then as a last resort - take your machine it to the shop - they could easily help you and you could be on your way. Let us know - what happens.

I dunno if this will help but here it goes... I was having a problem with my thread tearing off and it turned out to be my bobbin was bad. I put a new bobbin in and the problem stopped now I am very careful with bobbins. Hope it's as simple as that.

The shop would b my last choice to go to, but I like what rickey says before u take that step, give them a call, save you money & they just might can tell you what the problem is. Have you tried a different brand of thread?
