No, it is not just for Janome. If it was, I would not be able to give my designs away to you guys, in your formats. It is just another choice of software you have got for digitizing. It is complete, so you don't have to buy anything extra. The only thing it does not digitize is cross stitch, and even then there could be a way around that. I have not tried it. But it does have photostitch, automatic and semi automatic (click to stitch) digitizing and manual digitizing. It also has edit, so you can edit any designs.Does this answer you question? Ricky.

I have Digitizer Pro, and have a Janome machine as well. I just love the program, and it does almost everything I want. What I need is a program that will run the sweeper, hee hee hee. It seems to be written a lot like Microsoft Publisher, if you've ever used that program, and I didn't have much trouble with learning it because I got a manual with mine, and also my Janome dealer is good at it. I love that it's complete, no extras to buy. It also has a way to view designs, even zipped ones, then open them into the program without unzipping them. It saves in multiple formats, and the thing I like best is it seems to have an almost unlimited "undo" feature. When 20 steps down the road you don't like how it's turning out, you can 'undo' till you get back to where you liked it, then go from there. It's pricey, but I sure feel I got my money's worth with it. Good luck, Marji

My Janome dealer sold me Generations and I haven't a clue how to use it. So I am reluctant to spend more big bucks on Digitizer Pro.
TY for your answer/help, marji.
workbecky I've heard Generations is very good.

I totally agree with you, marjialexa. I too have digitizer pro. I wonder if it is not that much more expensive then some of the other ones that you have to buy extras for.If you add up the cost of those, I mean.

Maggie, I am not sure whether the guys from the other part of the world know what a L plater is! If you came to Adelaide I would give you lessons. It is much easier showing then talking. May be I should come up north. It is pretty cold here!. Ricky
Ricky its cold up here Its the first time I have put a jumper on in 3 years ,funny how we don't think what others use in other parts of the world ,Ricky it won't be long until you put lessons on your web page , you were born to teach , do you have web cam ,I talk to my kids down south but there is much more you can do .this is your thing go for it ,
