I began making this garden table cloth in the spring but it was 'put on hold' because bad weather kept us indoors. The 8 designs around the top of the cloth

(all from CD) are:- mmm chocolate, relax, BBQ King, Enjoy, teapot, egg-cellent, ruler of the roost, is carrot cake a vegetable?. The main fabric is a small, ditzy flower, self colour (ecru) pattern cotton and the edging is mainly pastel colours, also a striped cotton fabric.

Thanks Shirlene, I'm happy that it's finished - the only thing is, it's TOO hot to sit outside just now,(for me anyway) we're having a heatwave!

North Texas has had 12 of the last 13 days over 100 degrees. Too hot to do anything :( The ground crunches when you step on it.

Thank you Mops. I'm thinking I might make some serviettes with the stripey edging, to go with the cloth.

Thank you Roxsy. The original material I didn't consider big enough so thought the stripes would just give it a finishing edge.
