It's cold enough here that our bird bath water freezes during the night, so I know just how you feel.

I was up to 96 here in Idaho but really not that bad. We do not have the humidity. Too hot to work outside for long but lovely to sit on the patio to feed the birds and squirrels.

Oh well - it's midwinter in New Zealand, and has been cold wet and windy off and on for a while. We are supposed to be having dreadful storms, but it's not as bad as reported, at least not where we are. There is always a silver lining if one is prepared to look for it. :)

It's been down to 0* here at Penrith (NSW, Aust) overnight "freeze the b's off a brass monkey"! Have 1 Aircon going in the main part of house, another aircon going on the back verandah, gas space heater going in the kitchen and a fanheater sitting right behind my chair in my (2nd bedroom) office. I feel the cold as badly as when it's super hot but at least when it's hot i can still move around without carrying the weight of extra clothes (not to mention Extra pounds) LOL! hugs n roses, M
