You receive one flower automatically everyday when you sign-in and a 24 hrs period has passed from the last time you first signed in the prior day. When you post a project people give you flowers when they look at it and then click on the flower at the top by the project's tittle. You can also get flowers by asking or answering people's questions and then clicking on the flower by their name, when the flower turns orange and you see the word thanks by it, you have sent someone a flower. Must importantant of all at least for me, if I answer a question or post a project I make sure that I go back to it and give a flower to those who have answered my question or put a comment on my project. I'm a newbie too. At first I wondered about the flowers. After a couple of days I figured that the flowers didn't mean much at all. After about a month, I found that the ones with the most flowers were the ones that I could count on to answer questions and be there for the other cuties. They are the backbone of the group. They are the ones that raise the new ones up. Now, I enjoy every flower that I get. It feels like a hug. I hope that you will see it the same way. That's what I'm giving you when I way *4U [wink]
