My Hugo's tape is not staying on my spools any longer. It didn't last long. Am I maybe doing something I shouldn't?

When you put it on, don't stretch it. Try cleaning the ones you have used. The oils from your fingers needs to removed once in a while. Jan

I use the plastic that you buy for protecting your table I have used the same pieces for a couple of years now i cut the pieces as wide as the spool is long Great for those giant cones of thread as well. Sticks all the time and is cheaper than the other tapes. Much more for your money.

Elaine, I have been using it for several years and have never had any trouble with it and with each use - I put it back around the spool of thread - don't know what would be causing this trouble - but would suggest you clean it as best as you can - see if that helps. *4U

I googled it it's a clear plastic stretchy tape that can b used over & over & keeps your threads from tangeling off the spool

OH, is that what it is!! I have used it for ages and have no problem with it. It is great.Elaine, try wiping it with a damp cloth. It might just have some oils on it.
