Just finished pickeling my figs and I was wondering if any of you have started making Holiday gifts yet? If so what? Must go clean up canning equipment. be back soon.

I've never eaten pickled figs but I love homemade fig preserves with lots of lemon n them like grandmother used to make. I made them n my younger days, but at home n Ga. I had access to fig trees. I don't see a lot of them n ala but I know there r some because I see the trees on occasion. Yes I've been working on christmas Gifts. Christmas Shirts, Placemats & napkins, table runners, lace snowflakes for cards & trees, Food carriers, towels, U name it I make most all of my gifts. *4U

I am making a quilt for each of my family members. One is finished completely and I have 2 1/2 tops pieced and then they will be ready to quilt.1 king 4 queens 1 full. By Christmas
NMM, can't wait to view all these quilts!

I live them I grewup eating them and you can;t buy them anywhere. I guess they wouldn't be a big seller acording to the cute community.lol

I don't give figs out either. When it comes to figs I am selfish. Only share with sister and best friend.lol
