dgrammy yes you can but make sure it is a rewritable CD so that you can add to it you wouldn't want to waste a whole CD for one zip file. When you click download a box comes up asking for the destination of the file click on my computer then on C: then on your CD burner. *

Don't know anything about your software, but mine won't open a zip file. I have to put zips in my documents and unzip before I burn to cd. I recently discovered a cd full of zip designs from Bunny cup.
Mine either, I was hoping there was a way to get it to unzip on the cd

I apologize you can SAVE a zip file to a CD. Or you can unzip it keep what you want in your embroidery files, delete the rest and then save the zip file to CD. You can not unzip it to CD.

You can use a USB Stick- There you can download the zipfiles and unzip them.....

Always make sure you have backups for your files - that means having them in at least two different places. If your CD fails you then still have them on the computer and vice versa.

If they are uzipped you save them to whatever your machine is mine is pes format...If they are still sipped then you just save the zip file as a zip. Hope this helps, also what size are your USB sticks? That may be a much smarter way to go depending on the size of the memory stick.
