kezza2sew how did your marmaladi turn out? Was I to late with my recipes to be helpful?

Just looking at answers now thank you. Still have a few hours left before I start to cook. Unfortunately I never cut off the pith. Oh well they are sweet oranges, navels.
I will let you know how it goes. Thanks for recipe.

Not a jam maker yet!!! Did not do a good job unfortuneately. Will have to have another go. Put in too much water and oh well not to worry. Plenty of oranges still on the tree. Thanks I am sure it will work next time.

you can always add the marmalade that have already made to the next batch a few minutes before the end of cooking, that will improve the marmalade

Kazza2sew. Did u use just ripe Fruit? this is needed to get the jam to set. Also if your fruit is very juicy use less water. If the next batch turns out thick mix the two batches together. Good Luck
