Rut Roh Mary just what you needed another addiction lol. I shope Craig's List all over the country, when I find what I am looking for I email the seller and ask if they will accept paypal or COD. I never pay with check or MO because there is no guarantee that you will get the item. COD is best. Also I get their zip code and do a UPS, Fed Ex, and USPS rate inquiry and then I know how much shipping costs and I don't have to pay "handling" fees like so many on ebay stick you with. Welcome to the Craig's List addiction family! *

Tell us what you found. Is it close by or will you have to have it shipped?

Good for you! Gosh Mary, if you look around my house, you'll see a ton of stuff... and I've sold things too (made some extra cash). You'll have a blast! Keep your eye on the free section... I've gotten my 60" tv there (fixed it for 350.00), bricks, a tiffany lamp (no kidding!) and some oil paintings to name just a few items. Good luck friend...let us know how the sewing machine table turns out. xoxo

I check Craigs list but never find any thing. I have a step son thou does really well on that site. We needed three windows for our garage he found some on there and they were free all you had to do is go get them so he gave us three and he kept the rest. Nice deal.

Oh Mary, you may not want to share this with Loretta - it looks like she might like something of this era. Hehehe!

Mary, you did good - you have a wonderful husband - how on earth can you afford a machine like this? Hehehe! I hope you didn't pay an arm and a leg for it. I am happy for you and once I get all that thread - that Teri is sending - if I have extra - I will let you know - Hehehe!

Craig's List is nationwide classifieds. I live in a smaller town so no one here sells on CL, most probably have never heard of it. So I shop the whole country for what I am looking for. The worst part is if you don't live near a big city then you have to check all the cities for what you want, but in my experience well worth it even including shipping. Scroll down to the bottom to read the post I left for mary in the meantime here is the link.

What a lucky find - my husband's uncle had an old machine in his estate, but was not one of the lucky ones to get the choice. You know, don't even know what happened to it!
