Mine is a Singer and it still works. Granny also left her scissors, thimbles, rulers, etc in it. Was fun going through all the drawers. She also put her "envelope" of family recipes in one of the drawers. Haven't told my mother about that. Also found my fathers harmonica. Thats a secret too. :) I had to go on the web and find the box of assessories so that I knew what each of them were. Could not believe they were all there. Have fun and enjoy owning yours.
