Charlie, how can I help? Most FSL will say FSL on the design - usually.

Usually misscharlie any design will say FSL or lace. do U have any directions for them at all. or can I go to where U got them & look at them then I could tell U? with FSL u will only need WSS no other kind.

For FSL, a fair indication is the number of stitches for the size of the design. FSL usually has a very high stitch count.
You can also do a virtual stitchout with your software and see how it stitches, most FSL will have a base network of stitches horizontal, vertical and on both diagonals with a dense outline.
If you have some designs, that you know for sure are FSL, do a virtual stitchout and watch closely how it is stitched then compare with the ones you 'think' may be FSL. Hope this helps. hugs, M

Hi Meg, no I did not have it worked out. I am guessing that the art deco one I did which had 22,722 stitches must've been a FSL. It's posted in projects if you care to take a look. TY for your help.

Here they are, for better or worse. The one on the left must've been FSL it had 22,722 stitches. Sure wish I had read Meganne's reply before I used felt and made it like a regular bookmark. Surprisingly the thread only broke once pretty impressive considering it had felt and med wt tear away and that density.
