I am going into the hospital Tuesday night for surgery on my severely damaged left ulna nerve. I have problems with it since March and it is causing my hand to be numb with pins & needles and cold all the time. I cannot grip anything with my left hand, I can't even pick up a glass of water. It makes it almost impossible to sew not to mention typing. I will be in the hospital for 1 1/2 days and then home for at least 3 weeks. I can't drive or anything as my arm will be strapped to my stomach in a harness so I can't pull out the stitches/staples in the incision. I will be checking this site and my mail, but don't know how much I will be responding to things. I will do all I can to keep in touch with y'all. It all depends on how I feel. I'm not a real religeous person, so if I could as that you keep me in your thoughts beginning Wednesday morning, I would appreciate it. I'll keep you posted on how I am doing. Flower and Hugs to all of you!!!!! Eric

I had double carpel tunnel surgery, you will find using the restroom a bit of a challenge LOL If you let me know if there are any certain types of freebies you want I will keep an eye out and email you if I find them. Good Luck and God Bless, hurry back to us mwaaaaaaaaaa *
P.S. I know God doesn't hold it against you that you're not "a real religious person", so neither do I

keep your chin up honey, I've got surgery on my hand coming up on the 20th. Do you believe I've got trigger finger in my thumb and ring finger from to much cross stitch!! Course this is why dh bought me my new machine so if the surgery doesn't hurt to much I think it was worth it. Keep your chin up and everything else elevated. You can read us daily and maybe type left handed the words 'hi'. We'll be thinkin of ya.

Hey, Eric! I sure will keep you in my thoughts for this operation, I'll even go hug a tree for you!! One of my best friends had his nerve pinched and eventually had this operation. It's a pain, to be sure, but the relief was sooo worth it for him. You'll get your hand back, and be able to sew & do all kinds of things again. Nerve pain can be the worst, so hard to alleviate. Rest assured, I'll be doing a Rain Dance or something for you, you take care & let us know how you are when you can get to it. Big hugs, Marji

WE certainly will keep you in our thoughts and prayers too. A good time for you to say a prayer also. Pray to God to give you courage , positive attitude and wisdom to accept his will and he will take care of the rest. Maybe, when friends come to visit, they will type for you and let us know how you are.

Although the Dr. wanted someone to stay with me full time for the first 2 weeks I do not have anyone who can do that for me. So I have hired a Visiting Nurse and a Home Healthaide to stop once a day to check on me, but thanks for your concern. I'll make it through somehow. Hugs

Hi, Eric...I had had several hands surgery, they are not as bad as you think, just the first few hours, it will feel very numb...but that's about all the problems, you will have to take a little pain killer every now and then.
Just remember Jesus loves you and so do we....flowers 4 U.
