ok the pic answered my question lol
glad I could help. It would be nice when we post a Q we could upload the pic at the same time, but that isn't a feature. Neither is editing your original Q so all my typos are infamous in Q & A

The bumble bee one I changed the colors for, FIRST color I used Gutermann #903 (lite lavender) ~~SECOND AND SEVENTH color Sulky holoshimmer #45-6043 (purple-ish silver) ~~THIRD color Gutermann #855 (yellow) ~~FOURTH color Gutermann #537(med-lite brown) ~~FIFTH color Sulky holoshimmer #145-6008 ~~~SIXTH color Gutermann white sorry color # is unreadable ~~SEVENTH color Sulky holoshimmer #45-6043 ~~~EIGHTH color Gutermann I think #844 or #944 it is unreadable it is a med-dark purple. Hope this helps anyone that likes the colors I used.

thank you for the link, does the bookmarks are more difficult in crossstitch ?

It was a breeze and very interesting to watch stitch out. I hooped tear away and felt then embroidered it, on the very last order of stitches #8 after I rethread I removed the hoop turned it over applied some glue stick to theinside of the design avoiding the edge then a piece of lavender fabric on top of that and secured with some tape. Replaced the hoop and stitched the border.

Charlie, thanks bunches!! Design Stash has some really nice x-stitch. I love the pansy bookmark too, may try that one as well. Thanks also for telling us which thread colours you used, big help! Marji

yw I know my posts are "long winded" but I like to try and help out best I can. *
I'm long winded, too, Charlie, but I figure if someone is not interested, then they don't have to read it. But if someone needs the info, it's there. I'm a born "explainer", I guess, always tell people more than they ever wanted to know, hee hee hee. But I love collecting information as much as designs! Thanks again, Marji
ohmygosh you are that twin people keep asking me about!
