which format is best to download to change? I heard some are hard to convert. I take HUS.

You can't just change them to .hus, they are not embroidery files, they are pictures to be used in a digitizing programme. I download .jpg and import them in 3D Digitizing (which is part of the 3D Husqvarna software}.
