Yes, I too had trouble. I did read yesterday something about them doing something to the site...but true to my fashion, it went in one side of my brain & out the other!

They had problems last week. I guess that it wasn't totally fixed. I'm sure that they are as frustrated as we are! Thanks for letting us know that it's down.

My mind is blanking. What is ATW short for?

I just received this e-mail:
The ArtisticThreadWorks server was experiencing some
problems over the last several weeks. The engineers
at our hosting company identified the problem as some
"leaky RAM" on our server.

To fix the problem we scheduled to have the server
backed up and shut down last nite while new hardware
was installed, then reinstall everything from the
backups.

Their estimate of time to complete the job was 3 hours.
Holly and I learned a long time ago the quadruple the
number of hours we are told for any kind of software
or computer work. So we guestimated that the server
would be up again this morning between 8am and 11am.

I guess we should have multiplied by 10 instead of 4!
We are right at 20 hours now and they tell me they're
"almost done". :-)

They just e-mailed that the site is up and running.
