I split leg seam , used size 14 needle but should have used a little thicker needle and used medium tear away stabilizer on top and bottom of big tear and just on the bottom of small hole

then you resew the seam a little scarry for me but i bet they turned out great could not find pic in projects

mary, let's take an old pair of jeans and try something. Now that I think of it , my old jeans won't zip.

It sure looked great. I guess I just dread ripping out that seam. I also have purchased a couple of jeans jackets that I want to embellish . Have you ever embroidered over a jeans seam? I saw a lady that had put put butterfly designs all over a jeans jacket with a huge one in center of back. Must have split it 4 times. I immediately went out and bought one , then I got cold feet.

I have done a lot of denim and stitched over seams I just lower the speed of the machine for heavier work
