the one that won't go away! Anyway, she was extremely dehydrated, whacked out and very weak. I'm having a really hard time emotionally dealing with all this today. :o( Group hug anyone???

Found some old photos of QE... The first one is of her, my GP, my Uncle and Mom.

Second is her and her poodles she adored.

Teri, I know she hated being in hospital last time, so I hope they can do something for her and do it fast. It's so horrible to see a loved one deteriorating! Hugs!!

Oh dear! Here is a BIG BIG HUG for you both. I am so sorry to hear this. Often think of her, even more so every time I see a giraffe. Sending lots of hugs, love and best wishes.

Oh Teri, I am so sorry, she probably has not been drinking enough is why the dehydration & inability to get rid of the UTI,bless her heart. Make sure when u r with her u try to get her to drink liqs & make sure they r encouraging extra fluids where she is staying. Did they not keep her when she went to the ER at least long enough to give her some IV fluids? I know how hard this is 4 U. My prayers R 4 U & Mrs. Esther Much love Lillian

Teri, I am so sorry!!! Yes, big big HUG coming your way!! The pictures of Queen Esther in her younger days are just wonderful, she truly does look like a queen!! Try and stay strong for her, and do make her drink more liquids like fruit juices and water, perhaps with a little lemon or lime in it. Dehydration can really sneak up on you, and stuff like coffee, tea and soda really don't hydrate. How about something like Pedialyte? All my best to you, dear one, and to Queen Esther, too!!! Love, Marji

What beautiful memories. Take them to her the next time you go. My grandmother had terrific long term memory even when the short term left. I wish I could hug away the hurt sweet Teri. You and She have made such a positive impression here and I'll never see a giraffe without thinking of her. Savor the moments and feel the love! Here's a hug from me: (((((((((((((((((((((((((hug))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))
