Just finished this set for MIL's birthday, thanks old and grey (sorry I don't know you first name) the design came from www.kreativekiwiembroidery.co.nz and sewed out really nicely, hardest thing to find was the eggplant coloured towel (her favourite colour) and I just put a bit of crochet around the washer to finish it off. I know she will love it as she was originally from New Zealand and now lives is OZ.

Very nice. I crochet around all my wash cloths and dish cloths as it makes them last longer the don't fray as they age. It looks great.

Good idea. I know it is simple, but I never learned crochet.
Its easy when you've got the basics, I've been crocheting for about 30 years and only sewing for about 2 but now I'm addicted to sewing, I bit the bug LOL

Good job!! Love the crochet. you are so talented. I like the eggplant color also. In my guest bathroom, I have violets everywhere, wallpaper, shower curtain and vanity items. I need new towels, but only lavender seems to be in style at the present. I will just to wait.
