Some of the street in the town I live in have washed out, are flooded, and some homes flooded. Because of the rains all over Florida the rivers are above flood stage. Thank all of you for your thoughts and well wishes.

Beth, I have had you & family in my prayers and so happy to hear tht you only had minor damage. The flooding is not good - but sooner or later it will dry out. How some of the country could use that rain. You have had more rain in that short time - than we have all year. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers - *4U

Dionnahawkins, I have been hearing about, and seeing this on the news. I have a friend in Key West, and I have not heard from him in awhile, so I just sent him an e-mail alittle while ago. Here in Oregon we often get toooo much rain also, I know water and wind can do alot of distruction. You and yours stay safe, keep-in- touch about how your all doing. Hugs and aflower.

Sounds like all are safe with minor damage. Hope the clean up process goes well. We'll be thinking of you.

I have never been around flooding. I can only think of what a scare that can be. I'm praying that this will be the last of it for you. Take care.

Not so sunny Florida just now Dionna. Wish you well with the 'clear-up' - a horrible situation to be in.

I keep watching for this rainmaker to *move*! Wow, it sure is a slow one, and having had a water main break in my basement, I can only guess what generalized flooding must be like. Contained to basement was bad enough! Be safe, get a rowboat and a waterproof case for your sewing machine & computer, & teach the kids to swim, hee hee hee. Really, hope it's over soon for you. Weren't y'all in a drought couple years ago? Sheesh! Global Warming. Marji
