I made this for the little boy next door. It hangs on the back of the Car and ties on. His toys and books can be put in it so that he can be amused while travelling. The designs some were Free off the net.

It has a wooden rail ( Like you have to hang your quilts) to keep it straight, a length of Grosgrain Ribbon to hook over the back of the front head rest, and also ties at the bottom to keep it straight. It takes 1 mtre of cotton drill , 1 mtre of Iron on Vylene,After you sew the pockets on you fold it in half and then you sew the Bias binding on. the pocket for the rod , and then the ties. requirements are , cotton drill, vylene, 2" wide bias binding ( I made my own )2.5 mt of cotton tape (grosgrain ribbon)-pocket sizes are 12x13'books- 9 3/4 ' x 11 1/4 "toys- 7 1/2 "X6 1/2" Pens(pencils)9 1/2 x7 1/2 snacks . Straps come in 4 1/2 " from the edge .The length of the Kaddy is 21 7/8 " (double) x 19 "the fold goes to the top . The toy pocket ha a pleat in it and it cover over the side of the book pocket. Sew pocket on the book pocket first before sewing onto the Kaddy. Hope that this will help you Ros
