Shell Crinoline Lady & embroidered parasol.

The Crinoline Lady is made up of approx. 10 different types of shells, her pet dog, sleeping at her feet 1 whole shell + shaped pieces to make his ears & tail. I have machine embroidered the parasol canopy and stuck it to the frame of a cocktail umbrella, then added a pretty red ribbon bow to the topside of the parasol. The parasol canopy design comes from Secrets of Embroidery.

Your shell projects are absolutely stunning. This is something extremely different and so very attractive. I love them. You are so creative combinding the two. Do you keep these yourself?
