This is a picture of the whole shell lady scene. The 'tree' is a piece of beach driftwood, it has the likeness of a big bear with arms outstretched. A glass 'box' with a mirror back panel (enabling the rear of the model to be seen from the front) covers the whole scene. The base is slate and the glass box is soldered on to the slate to make the scene dustproof.
