Turns out I stung myself, when I swatted the bee I didn't notice that it's body came apart. Unfortunately for me the stinger end landed on the desk where I rested my arm.

what bad luck, my husband is allergic, he got stung one day at work in the stomach (dumb concreter no shirt on) and when he came home he had the biggest black eye (looked like he had gone 10 rounds with Mike Tyson), moral to the story now he keeps his shirt on, LOL, *4u

Sorry Charlie. My Dad told me years ago that if you take some tobacca from a cigarette and wet it & place it on the sting this will take the sting out. It works. Good luck A flower for you without the bee (HeHeHe)

Those stings are so painful!! I got stung on a finger earlier this summer and quickly got an ice cube on it.
That really helped - hardly swelled and not nearly the pain of other stings. (I did keep the cube on it for quite awhile.) Hugs!!

Well for 50 yrs I wondered if I was allergic, now I know I am not! I guess that is the optimist's way of looking at it lol *

Ouch! It happened to me in Grammar School during recess and I can still remember it. I don't like it when people see 1 and start swatting. That's the way I got stung. The other kids were swatting and I was ignoring the whole deal. Now I'm phobic about bee-swatting people. lol

I must admit I am a swatter, but I did not swat this one except to kill it. Even after death he still got me lol *
