For being so sad I feel for you.But i know he would not want to see you sad so why not have a little party for him instead and be happy that you had such a great dad.Celebrate all the good times that you had all the love that you shared and the knowing that he cared and still does. my love to you and a * for you both. I am sure he is with you in your heart. so make it a good day not a sad day.

I understand the feeling I'm also always in a special mood on the day both my parents passed away on the same time( now 26 years ago). But then I always try to remember the happy times and the love, we were able to share.it helps. Hope it helps for you too. Try not to be sad but to remember the love, because this love will never die.*4u

you must have been daddy's girl. I was and sometimes I still sit and cry missing him so much and he's been gone 20 years now. Seems like yesterday. Hold your memories close and when you sleep he'll place a kiss on your cheek and let you know he still loves you and will see you again.

I'm so sorry! Huge hugs for you!! (My mom & dad passed away within 13 months of each other, 3 & 4 years ago.)
Cherish your memories, may they bring a smile to your face.

Find some private time and have a nice long chat with him. My Mom passed away in '87 and I still talk to her all the time. Sometimes when I'm down, but mostly when I'm very happy. She doesn't answer, but I know in my heart what she would say. Sharing will keep you connected, so keep sharing. And do something special, that he would have enjoyed, on his birthday to keep the day special. Big hugs and *** for you on this difficult day.

I understand your sadness. Try to think of something he would have enjoyed, or taken care of, or done today and do it in honor of him to celebrate his life. It really does help. ;)

I am so sorry for your grief. Believe me, some of us can really relate to that. We have loved ones that we were really close to, and they have passed away too.

Tinfriend, I'm sorry for your loss. It is hard, the first year is the worst. I lost my brother October 1, 2007, he was 43. The first year you think about everything they are missing. You miss them at every gathering. It is hard. Time heals all things.
Thinking of you.

I know how tough it can be. Sorry. When I am hurting and missing my Dad I find a special memory about him and hold on tight. It will get easier with time and you will always have your special memories.

I know how you feel. I am coming up on what would have been my daddy's 98th birthday. He passed away 2 years ago. I still pick up the phone at times to call him. They are always missed.

My dear Cute Friends, Thank you for all your Love, Support, Hugs too and words of Comfort! It has been a difficult time for me and I apologise for only replying to you all now, but I think you will all understand!

I do know that at one time or another my dad had to go BUT it was the circumstances as to how and where he died - THAT is what I cannot accept and I am still so bitter about that! So I have so much to deal with and to try and get over - Trying hard as life IS so short and I know my Dad would have wanted me to get on with it BUT he was SO unhappy in the OAH and wanted to go home to my mom but he was not wanted there!!!!! Best I not talk about this as I just start digging it all up again as it is I can hardly see what I am typing now!

For all the Hugs

Just wanted to Thank you ALL so very much for being here for me - it made such a difference to me as I am going thru so much at the moment!! God Bless You ALL from the very bottom of my Soul!!! Take care!

Flowers* for you all too! xoxo
