Oh Mary, what a sweet story. Do you work in a hospital? I had a sister-in -law that worked on the cancer ward of a large hospital in Memphis. After a couple of years, she had to ask to be transferred to another area. She just couldn't take it. She said all her patients died.

Mary, That is so sweet. It hurts so to get close to someone that is terminal, especially when that someone is a child. Such an easy thing to do and yet, it turns into the world of pleasure for both of you. It is really a tearjurker. Thanks for sharing. *4u

This was so sweet of you. My son had cancer. He did beat the cancer, now 20 years cancer free!!!! I remember the day we were at McDonalds. My son was also about 4, bald because of chemo. Another little boy about the same age came over to my son and gave his Happy Meal toy and said he doesn't need this and thought my son would like to have it. That was 20 years ago and I still remember it like it was yesterday. That little girl and her mother and father will remember that small gesture of yours forever!

Good on you Mary, you've just created one of those stories that will be told for many years to come, hopefully she can beat her cancer and when she is old and grey she will talk about the wonderful women who gave her her cherished teddy bears which she still keeps in pride of place, *4u.

Mary you have such a big heart. Who wouldn't just love you? I believe we earn jewels for our crown in heaven while we are here on earth and in my opion you are going to have to wear a neck brace to be able to hold up your hevenly crown because of all the jewels in your crown. You are a true example of a caring, giving person. Bless you.

how very sweet of you, you know the saying 'cast your breads upon the waters and they shall return to you double fold.' Your sweet gesture will come back you and you gave a small girl a reason to smile. Maybe she'll take her little bears to heaven with her.
