Original pattern was black & white shoes. However my dad wants THIS pattern and on a BLACK towel. Well... black on black won't show. So, I had to come up with plan B. We decided on brown as a substitute for the black. In the 1/2 shoe at the back, I kept the original white and just substituted the black for the brown. In the full shoe in the front, I also switched the white to a cream/pale brown colour. Please let me know if you have a preferrence - I welcome any comments: both positive or negative! :) Thanks, Debbie

Ok I'll be the first to vote for the cream/brown shoe.Both look great, but I actually like the cream and brown shoe better,more subtle contrast to me.

well it's difficult, because they are both very good. But I prefer the creme-brown shoe. because I think it looks softer than the white one.I think the difference between the colour white and the black background is too much. Just like dgramma I prefer the cream-brown.

They both look good. I prefer the cream myself. But I would change the white seam with either a matching cream or even the brown. To my eye the white looks odd with the cream/brown shoes.
