The second cushion cover I made for a swap. From the collection Tops to Pots.

Embroidered on damask fabric. The lucky person received them both.

I like them both - it would be hard to swap.

Beautiful , that lucky person! Could you explain this swap-thing, are you changing your own handicraft with someone else`s handicraft? *4U

Lets say 20 people join a swap. It could have a theme, say small wall hanging, or something with birds, or a number of different themes. You only send one item off each, there fore everyone gets something back in return. A person is group leader and arranges it all like who swaps with who. It could even be just a quilt block of a certain size or a particular colour, there are many different ways to go about it.

That`s sounds hard work, but fun! And you have a certain given time to do your handicraft? Never been in these kind a group, hmmm....maybe I found something like that someday.

Don't know what "swap" means but I like the cusion cover and the person who get it is a very lucky person.

A "swap" is when you join a sewing swap group and you do something for someone else and someone else does something for you, not always exchange with the same person.
