Check the site www.needleheads.com. This is the man who wrote these programs. It tells about them, and has a free 7day trial you can download to try the programs. To buy, www.allbrands.com has them for $149.99 and $249.99. This is the best price I have seen. They are under embroidery software.

Yes I bought mine from Allbrands.com. They have the best prices and if you get on their email list they regularly send out coupons for a better discount. I just got the Monogram Wizard Plus so I am learning . The Plus has more fonts and alphabets and you can buy extra Alph packs. some can only be used with the Plus. At allbrands when I got mine you got 2 Free Alph packs when everywhere else I looked you only got 1 . Hope this helps Good Luck A flower for you

On MW Plus, you can layer text in the program. It has 5 different layers. You can put text on one layer, an initial on the next layer, a motif on the 3rd layer, etc. I haven't used this feature too much because I prefer to use a different program for layering. However, I do not think the original version has this feature.
