Quite awhile back someone was kind enough to tell us how to make the measurement that fabric stores use into the inches we use. I coped, but now can't find. Help!! Thanks.

If you can't find it, you can always try to work it out by dividing the cm by 2.54 to get your inches. Quite a bore, I admit, I'm forever multiplying inches by 2.54 to get cm's.

I'm not sure what exactly you're asking, but it seems you're confused about metric. If that's the case -
Fabric stores in the US use the yard measurement or 36 inches. A meter, which is what they use for measurement in Canada and other parts of the world, is equal to 39.37 inches or 1.094 yards. Is that what you're looking for? Or are you searching for subdivisions of a yard into smaller inch measurements, such as a half yard is equal to 18 inches?
