I did not know that many buy their designs from the same clipart dealers. I saw a design on Sew Forum that looked similar to a design I had seen on another site. I wrote and ask Sew Forum if the design was legal? I was kicked off the forum along with a nasty note. No one was nice enough to tell me about the clipart dealers sold. No, they are not nice or helpful!!! You know the old saying " for everydoor that closes, another opens." I found "Cute" after that first horrible experience. You are so loved and appreciated here. You know that "Cute" is the GREATEST of all. I do not go to any other forums, this is my home and family. God bless, Hugs.

Mine to. Just love It here.If you go missing some one is always looking out for you. or if you need a prayer you get more than one if you need a laugh there is always one here and if you need a friend that gives unconditional love there is hundreds here.And if you need inspriation for what ever you will always find it here.

People can be so hurtful not knowing that they are the ones that are not thinking straight. It sounds like they are very good at jumping to conclusions. I don't imagine that they would be a popular group. Anyway, not enough to worry about.

I learnt this on my own when i found several sites having similar designs. then i came upon those clip arts sites so i sort of 'answer my own enquiry'. its nasty that they are so ruse. its just a qn n they can just 'educate' people, isnt it?
then there's some sites must register and pay to even msg members. i dont like. then some that only allow u to discuss their designs. well, i guess if things are said beforehand, its still not bad. just 'educate' or update people of yr site rules.thats most important.

I also joined Sew Forum when new to embroidery. Talk about mean spirited people! Time and time again I hear of someone asking a Legit QUESTION and next thing they know they are banned. I thought the whole idea of Forums was to share, teach and help each other. That doesn't seem to be the case with them. Reminds me a THE Click in high school. Their way or no way! I can't remember the last time I visited SEW. If I want mean I can always call my ex!

I also had problems -- created a stacked name for someone using the fonts that came with my software -- got pulled for copyright violation -- I explained the fonts came with my software so I didn't see violation. They did apologize tho. I pulled the design so don't do request there any more.

I have never been comfortable interacting on the net so this is the only place that I converse. I find it helpful and informative with nice people. AND not to mention the great designs that are availble!!!
