Free standing lace using Solvy heavy weight. This is the first time I used varigated thread. I think it turned out fine. The yellow was done to see it in a solid color. The red star type ornament I had seen long ago posted by Cutie Pie. I loved it so that I wanted to make them. I'm just now getting around to it. Hope to do many of them in red for my Christmas tree to contrast the variety of white ornaments that I stitched out last year. Sorry, I don't remember where I got either of these designs. I' sure they were free ones at the time.
