I only use stabilizer on bottom of my fleece. I guess you can do both, my stuff turns out real good. Hope you get it done in time! (SMILE) *4U

I have just used tear away on bottom on my fleece blankets, but plan on trying tear away on bottom and a layer of wss on top next time to see which I prefer. The way I understand it the wss will keep it from sinking into the fleece. Good luck getting it done in time Grandma.

Ok MM. Calm down. do U have the fleece yet? ok don't do a big elaborate design. Some simple baby design without a lot of heavy fill. It needs to b light, put it n one corner or n middle, tear away on bottom WSS on top. If u have blanket stitch on machine do that all the way around blanket & now n just mins. U have a lovely fleece blanket for new baby. Love to U Lillian *

Boy, are you in for a pleasant time! Grand kids are the very BEST thing God sends us! I too use WSS on top & tear away on bottom. Enjoy that grand baby and remember lots of love has never spoiled a baby! Besides, you get to send it home with momma & daddy!

I used tear away on the bottom and put one of Cassandra's stippling designs in each corner. It came out great. Early CONGRATS:) *4U

Mary, by now - it should be complete - right? Have a great time and enjoy it - so later when you and the baby are snuggling in that little blanket - you can share about all the love that was put into the making of that little blanket from you to them. And that it is yuor love that keep them warm and cozy - Hehehe!
