I know how you feel, Mary. I was trying to embroider a few T-shirts for my GS before we left Cape Town for the UK and I snarled one up completely!!! When I get back home I will have to fix it with applique like Lilian advises. Hope all goes well for your daughter tomorrow. *4U

Slow down and take nice deep breaths. I was the same way when my first was being born. I know just how it is. The trouble is that I suffered the same thing when my first Great Grandbaby came too. lol All is going to go better than your blanket is doing. I can't wait to see the baby in the new blanket.

Did you get blanket fixed? I posted my nightmare shirt today,so it can be fixed with applique or patch hole and stich a bigger design over it. Are you a new grandma yet? I have been thinking about you all day and I hope all is well.Hugs

I think the applique idea is a good one.

Oh Mary! Calm down! Don't waste you time trying to remove stitches from fleece. I think the applique idea is best solution and maybe "float" a piece of fleece underneath the hoop. When you trim the first tack stitches on top also trim under side of hoop and you will not longer have a hole. Applique could also be a label. "Stitched with love by Grannie". Good luck sweetie!
