Pink for if it's a girl, blue for if it's a boy, and white for the birth announcement cards (which will be pink or blue card!) - Catherine is in labour! She rang me at 3.15 a.m. our time to tell me her waters had broken; she was admitted to the maternity hospital at 6.30 a.m. (it's now 11.55) and when I last heard all was going well. I'm so excited but I don't know what to do with myself while waiting - I couldn't get back to sleep so I got up at 4 a.m.! It was different when it was my son's baby, all we knew was that Laura had gone into labour until my son rang to say I was a Granny! This time, Catherine lives much nearer to us and as soon as I get the word, I'm off!! I will keep you posted! Love from Dianne x x x

Erin Charlotte had already arrived as I posted this message! (Born at 11.53) She weighed in at 7 lbs 7 ozs, mother and baby both doing well although Catherine did need some "embroidery" after a rapid labour (ugh! I remember it well!) Love to all from Dianne x x x

They are very cute. I started to tell my daughter (who is a week overdue) and she says she doesn't want to hear if another one of my Cute friends' grandchildren has been born!! That's her frustration talking!!! Look forward to hearing your news. *4U

They are so cute Dianne....yes it is different when it is the daughter I am sure, my daughter chose not to have any children but my son has two, but I am sure it might have been different if my daughter had been the one having the baby I would have been right there on the doorstep...
