by katydid 25 days agothanks +5Sweetie, I know all these brave Cuties embroider on the paper of toilet paper. I only make covers for the toilet paper. It's so easy. I will share with you. I find that felt or other non raveling fabric works well. Cut 4 1/2 in wide and 18 in long. Hoop stabilizer only, because hoop might cause burn on felt. Spray adhesive on stabilizer and lay felt appropriate to design. Stitch and cut away stabilizer. I attach Velcro to each end horizontally to be adjustable to any size roll. That's it and so easy. good luck whichever method you choose!!!

by misscharlie 24 days agothanks +2Hey Joye, I have done several TP projects. I like to use TP to test designs. If the design is good I have a pretty TP, if the design is bad I still have TP. No waste.
Now what I do is take a used fabric softener sheet (Bounce)and put that in the hoop.
Next I roll out 3 squares of TP and fold in half making sure the design will be on top when rolled back up. Put that on top of the Bounce dryer sheet.
Then a sheet of tear away stabilizer. Hoop it all together stitch out the design and you got pretty TP! Hope this helps *

Will use better quality tp next time though and post pic. Tried to use the bath lady design but my software couldn't read it, bit miffed about that. Jo

Here are a couple of tutorials. I hope this helps. I like to use cutaway stabilizer, and I normally slow down the speed of my machine a lot. I also like to 'sandwich' the stabilizer by folding the toilet paper and putting it in between the folded layers. I hope this helps a little. Enjoy!
