I have a giga hoop,You can use JANOME Customizer 11000 to combine designs,i find it works well. I don't know anything about Embird. With the giga hoop it embroiders one side,you then remove the hoop,swap the attachment to the other end,turn the hoop around clip it back into place and sew the other side. you need to have two component parts on your file menue. With embird U should b able to combine the designs but I know nothing about the Janome. Hope U get some help here. I know there r others with Janomes *

Why would you combine your designs in Embird? If you have a Janome you should also have a Customizer. You can combine your designs in that as well as use the giga hoop.You will not be able to use the giga hoop if you combine your designs in Embird.As toet has already explained,you do the combined designs by doing one side, then swapping the attachment and doing the other side. The giga hoop does not sew a large area all at once.Because you have to turn the hoop, you have to make sure the second part of your design is upside down.The customizer is the right software to use for the giga hoop

I have a Janome machine and Embird. Don't have Customizer. I'm not even sure what Customizer is. Should also add that I don't have a giga hoop but hope to buy one soon. From what my dealer told me you can use Embird to combine designs for giga hoop.

Thanks for everyone's help! I do not have the Customizer program, and I have been able to do everything I needed so far with Embird. I don't want to buy another program if Embird can combine designs for the giga hoop. I have asked my local dealer, but they don't seem to know anything about Embird. They just point me to Customizer. *4all
