I would love to know how everyone fits time in to embroider. Between downloading all the free samples and 10 to 12 hour work days, plus keeping up the house asnd yard, theres rarely any time to

LOL that is so true, I don't even try to DL all the free samples. I'll write it down if it is interesting. & mayb go back later. I'm on cutes usually as I'm embroidering. Since I have disabled hubby & have just about all yrd work to do also. I just spend time a little here & a little there. I'm a retired person so at least I don't work away from home but do keep my 4 mo. old Great G.son 2 days a week 9 hrs ea. day. A body just does what ever they can. lol *4U

camylow, thanks for the question - it seems funny that you would ask this - I always put embroidery on - something - before I ever get onto the PC - change threads - when the time comes - some how - I get it and my email answered - during the same amount of time - Hehehe! With all those downloads you do need to take advantage of those gifts and use them or the effort to get them was for not. Hehehe!

I realized that I could/would do whatever was most important to me. My baby doesn't like it when she's working and I go off and leave her, so I have lots of activities going on around the computer/sewing area.;)

Camylow have you noticed that no one mentioned the house work. The people who come here have a seriously addicted problem and house work don't fit. into that. And sorry I have to tell you but you now have it also. You delegate the house work to all other members of the family because your mess is around you the rest of the house is theres as you are not there to make that mess. It's is called train up your children. ha ha ha

Well this lady is 73 retired and making every day count...if I feel like downloading freebies or reading up on cuties commments that is how I spend a few hours every day...I'm an early riser so Cute is usually visited with my cup of tea before breakfast..I may come back for another visit sometime later as the new downloads are not usually there until mid morning...I love it...do get in a little embroidery but mostly quilting right now...not a housekeeper nor a gardener...you must be a youngun camylow...Hugs & flower for u

Keeping up the house? Yard work? Heck no...we don't have time for any of that, there are too many freebies to download, and time to spend here...but...can't you heard?the machines are RUNNINGGGGGGGGGGGG!!!!LOL.You will simply find time to do whatever is that you want to do...just as easy as that!!!!xoxoxoxo and ****Just manage your time.

Housework versus embroidery...embroidery wins ever time. You work long hours a day; put aside some time for yourself, even if it's only 30 min. Life is short!

Now that I had to sit and really think about it... I guess I just decide somedays that's it I am going to embroider, and to heck with the world. I start my day at 5am not enough time before work (6:30am) to embroider not with getting the dogs situated and myself ready. My yard work mostly consists of cleaning up after the dogs lol. I get home about 6:30 pm and again back to the dogs feeding, outside, and playtime. Before I know it the day is almost over lol. I did make time today to do 3 designs because I needed to enjoy and relax for myself. So I get to my machine about 2 or 3 x a week.

It's not easy, as the day goes by way to fast.Sometimes I just say I'm gonna embroider and forget the house work and yard work and it is always still there waiting for me.*4u

I too would love to know the answer to this! I have 2 babies, a 1 year old and a 2 year old. I do work for lots of other people so I try to do it as I can and only mail things out on Fridays so that gives me the entire week to get things done. I am not sure yet how to fit it in I just get it in when I can! Good luck to you and if you figure out a good way to get everything done please fill me in!

Maybe we don't watch TV
we have dishwashers
we only work as much as we have to
dust is good for you it protects everything
washing machine works on its own or it gets thrown out
if the grankids come to visit give them the vac to play with as they are not aloud to use there mums
and we have great men to do the rest

you have to pick and choose what you want to do. Each day is something........by the end of the week it is all done. Cute comes first everyday......then the rest.

house work, what do you eat that with??? Ohhh! that thing my hubby and kids do... lol

lol I have kids for laundry and cleaning and the bonus is they wil be easily married off due to their knowledge! I do my best embroidery when I am reading my homework for school, pausing to change thread! It breaks the dullness of the psychology or spanish!

i find my sew time in the early morning or very late at night. when everyone is asleep, it's my time. i may only have 30m but i make the best of it. or sometimes when i can't sleep i will embroider something, watching it sew out will make me sleepy.

I don't sleep, yaaaaaaaaaaaawn!
Truth is, I just don't know how I get everything done, I'm retired now, but seem less organised than when i was working 10-12 hours a day and driving 3 1/2 hours everyday just to get to work and back..
My pc's are always on and I spend most of my day at one or the other, I take work breaks of about 30 minutes, when i leave my pc, do one household chore, then back to my pc. I'm trying to change my routine from nights to days because I rarely get to bed before 3:00 am but then I don't get up until 8:30 am and I really think I need to get back to early to bed and early to rise.
The TV is on all the time and I have one in each room of the house, where I can see from wherever I am working, (no, none in the loo, yet! LOL!)
I spend a lot of time answering Q's on groups and probably could cut back a little but NEVER would cutback at Cute, this is home. I just wish there was more time in each day to be able to contribute more but I don't even have my machine to embroider with right now so Heaven knows how I'll cope when it comes back.
Hope this gives a little insight into my embroidery addiction. Hugs n Roses, Meganne

good question, I was wondering the same thing sometimes, hehe!but I think it is said that women can do all sort of things in the same time, more than one thing anyhow. perhaps that's why there are more women (sorry eric) on this site.LOL, gerry
