This is the first of 4 handbags that I have just made. The ladies hair has been done with colonial knots and there are seed beads on her dress. The inside of the bag has 3 pockets, one has a zipper.

Hi, the brown piece with the lady on is actually a section of quilting fabric and there are 3 different dancing ladies on it. I stitched around the outline of her skirt by hand, thanks for your compliment

Great job!! I started making purses earlier and didn't realize the time involved. I still plan to make more but figured I couldn't sell them at a decent price because I had so many hours in them. No one would pay me what I needed to come out. Do you make them to sell or just gifts to special people?
